So I am just curious...do we really need short people in this world?
I mean no one really does like them so should we do away with them ? Especially the men?

My sincere apoligises for the shock of my question but I ask this as a straight up intelligent debate. In a world where we condem racism, sexism, any type of disregard for one who is disabled, even if one is challenged by weight., I am repulsed by the ongoing disregard and lack of respect for height challenged peoples.
I am black 5'1 and my mother was 4'11 with bow legs and she didn't love herself very much when Randy Newman "short people have no reason to live" was the most pregijuce song to ever broadcast on radio as a hit in 1978. Now we have a movie called "little man" which laughs at how a tall actor portrays a man the size of a child.
Has our wrld turned so deficient of intelligence that we laugh at one physical challenge? Many were offended by this type of question but the facts are that short people encounter more height slurs than racial. Or worse yet both. How do we change this silent overlooked dilemma? Should Randy Newman be sued ?

There is no ideal person in this world and never be!!!
You will be ideal for some body else but it doesn't mean you will be happy about your looks..it's called love, dude.
It's not about how you look it's about how you feel and present your self.If you hate your self everybody else will too.
Show some positive attitude!!!
It sounds like you hate short people because you short and don't like it..that's just sick...stop it !!!
It feels like there is nothing else to you besides your physical looks .

We are all different because that's how we're meant to be. I don't have prejudices against anybody. It doesn't matter how old a person is, pretty or ugly, smart or challenged, short or tall, or what color. We are all unique, and I love all.

No! We were the original people! Everyone was short from the beginning! You tall people are mutants! If you look at history and antiques, you can tell that all of the men and women were very small. If you're tall, you're mutated. hehe.

i read somewhere that humans are the only animals on earth that do not practice natural selection...maybe short people should be summarily executed in favor of the supreme race....nah, sounds so world war two-ish.....let's try to keep our questions a little more real world, shall we???
