I'm not sure of the exact date that Kool-aid Man started wearing jams (pants just above the knee) on television and on the Koolaid packages, but possibly when Koolaid started their "Jammers" products. I don't think it had anything to do with censorship... more likely trying to appeal to pre-teen & teenage groups.

Wow, really? I love the Kool-Aid man, he's awesome. But if you were throwing a party and you saw him coming from a distance, run the hell away! He'll come and bust through the walls of your house! That would be a total downer!
