... if you wore it today, you would totally give the world a good laugh.

I'll go first: As a kid I had a yellow polyester blouse with a big ole fiddle embossed on the back. I looked like Porter Wagner when I wore it. I thought I was so cool.... at 5 years old. Today? You guys would laugh me out of Yahoo!

Ok......your turn!

Ah, Einstein...the "Make 7...Up Yours" promo...I loved it! Ahead of its time!

A similar one...from THE '80's: Bubble Yum bubble gum had these T-shirts, with big print ala the "Frankie says/Relax" style...they simply said "JUST BLOW ME"! How clever! Bubble gum. Blow me.

Sorry...I'll admit mine here...spandex bicycle shorts. Me and many of my peers at the time wore them, even though we didn't ride. But they were perfect for the summer. When you went swimming, they dried immediately, so you didn't need a towel and you didn't have to change out of any suit. Plus, when your partying, if you spill any beverage on them, it dried pretty quick, too...

Unfortunately, they didn't leave much to the imagination.

I'm sure someone, somewhere has pictures.

I'm going to have to track them down...

I have this beautiful tiedye shirt for a Harmony for Habitat concert that has a huge yin-yang symbol on the back. The fabric is really soft too. Very comfy shirt. Anyhow, I learned last year that if I wear a tie-dye around town here that people will think I am into drugs. Sad. :-(

Oh, and I recently aquired a fun little pair of shiny golden bikini bottoms that apparently had been modified for the... er... gifted. For $.2.50, I couldn't resist! Some friends now insist that I not only follow through on my plan to dress up for Halloween as Goldmember, but that I go to Fantasy Fest as well!! Never been... Scary huh? So now I have to decide if I should be looking for golden roller skates or golden boots. Hmmm... probably can't go EVERYWHERE with the skates, but where to get Goldmember boots??

I think I was 7 or 8...but I had the bad *** Evel Knievel outfit that all the groovy kids were wearing back then. The white polyester jump suit, with the silver starred belt, and the red and blue cape!

Man, I was the coolest kid on my block popping wheelies with his Schwinn. (powered by a baseball card and a clothes pin for that real motorcycle sound)

Hate to tell ya that I can no longer fit into that outfit as I've put on a lot of inches...pretty much everywhere :-)

I was a bit older. My last year of high school I had this jacket made out of fake lamb. I would wear this with straight tight tight jeans and a pair of high heeled cowboy boots. I looked soooo cheap and sleazy but I loved it. The jacket was very much oversized so I looked like a giant marshmallow on toothpicks as I was a very skinny teenager.
Now I am Canadian so of course I had to wear all this with a flannel shirt. I shouldn't have worn one buttoned low enough to see the lace of a teddy however.
It was tacky tacky tacky.
I have to go and face the people that I used to wear this in front of soon. My 25th high school reunion is coming up and I promise that I will tone it down a wee bit.

I would rather not receive any grief over this answer so/ I still have this Black and Gold jersey proclaiming 93 as the year the Saints would march all the way to the Super Bowl and be victorious, seein hows we were 12 and 4 the year before.
It became a very limited edition jersey for ever more after
the 93 season bashing. You see i still have faith maybe one year
before all the original fans start dying off to old age it would be nice.Die Hard Fans 1967- ????

What comes to mind first is a really cool outfit I had in the eighth grade. That year "boy suits" were in style. They were blazer cut jackets and fairly short straight skirts, but they were made in prints and designs. My mom was a really good seamstress and she made me one. It was navy blue background with little flowers in yellow, pink, I don't remember what other colors. I could sew some then too, so to top it off we made a cap to go with it, I guess it was one of those Carnaby style hats, kind of flat on top with a little bill in front, IN the same print fabric. And the shirts that were worn with them were called "poor boy shirts", go figure why, but they were ribbed knit T-shirts, and mine was yellow. My, my I thought I was MISS IT. And every day that I wore this ensemble to school turned out to be such a good day for me.....hmmm, maybe I should have kept that tacky little outfit.

I had a t-shirt I wore until it disintegrated off my body. It had a picture of a daisy on it with Marsha Brady's head in the center of the daisy. Then, underneath this flower, Marsha Brady was written in 'Brady Bunch' font. I thought I was groovy.....the sad part is, I would probably still wear it today if it didn't get worn to its death. *sighs* I so miss that shirt. I also had an Ann B. Davis shirt (Alice) but that one wasn't nearly as groovalicious.

It was a "Hot Pink and White" bold flower patterned version of a short "Moo-Moo". I wore it in a talent show we had in the sixth grade. There were 4 of us and we were doing a rendition of the "Mama's and Papa's. My other 3 classmates were all wearing jeans, suede vests w/fringe etc. All I remember is a lot of snickering and my classmates being very upset! They blamed me for us losing, because of my bad fashion statement. I still here about from time to time, and it's been 38 years! LOL

I had this T_Shirt from a 7UP commercial.
Got me into trouble once so I haven't worn it in public since.
The commercial wanted you to
"MAKE 7 UP YOURS"
On the front of the t-shirt it says
"MAKE 7"
And on the back it says
"UP YOURS"
I thought it was funny at the time but this elderly Lady hit me with an umbrella.lol

I have a favortie sweatshirt, dark grey, blue dragons, totally fits perfectly and comfortably. Not your normal thing to see, but not funny to see. I love it and it is a part of my style.

Also my hand made coachman's cape type trenchcoat. It is so cute. Not too stock standard for society but it is also part of my individaulity, get a few laughs or called a goth, oh well

I have an olive green hip length jacket that my best friends at the time bought me from an army surplus store. I love it because they got it for me, and I always think I'll wear it out, and then when I put it on I realize that people would laugh.
