He's out. And if you mean he hits the ball and hits himself no. If he swings and misses and it hits him, He's out. This happened a couple of weeks ago betwen the White Sox and Cardinals.

Its the Umps call if he thinks you were swinging in defense and it hits you then its a hbp, but if not then strike three

No, he is hit by the ball it is a foul ball...If he goes theough a complete swing that is a foul ball...If he offers then pulls abck and gets hit then he is awarded first base.
