I got a program last year called "Wipe Drive" You just insert it into your cd rom and it wipes everything off the hard drive. Afterwards all you do is reinstall your windows. It has been the easiest and fastest way for me to wipe my hard drive and start over. I have used it several times on my computers and a few friends have used it as well and none have had any problems. I just checked the website and it is available for $39.95

Use a magnet, you'll most likely return it to haveint the code read as all zeros (computers use a binary system of programing, every variable has only 2 options, zero (off) and one (on))
