First off, it is important to do some research when developing your pricing. Take a little time to find out what other websites like your are charging (you can normally do this by contacting the webmaster, or if there is an 'advertyise with us' link, it should give you rates, this way you have a foundation as to what may run on the high side or the low side. Secondly, it is important to understand HOW your competiton is charging their advertisers. The usual and most affordable way to do this is by charging per impression (which basically means, everytime a user clicks on the link, they will be charged) for a set time. Many sites also use a initial posting fee (a base cost) and set a certain limit to an advertiser's time (ie, 30 days, 60 days etc) as well as production costs if you are doing the graphic design for them too (but its best to leave that to the professionals, or prehaps have a freelance Graphis Design Artsist in case you need someone to help you). This should help you out.

You should do a performance charge. Charge your clients per click, not a flat rate. That means as you grow you make more money and they get their moneys worth. You can always let them bid on a cost per click sort of like google. Try that and you should make some money. If this advice really helps, i'd appreciate if you put a link to my site on yours. It's www.businesstips101.com.

It depends on what your PR is, and how much traffic you get per-day.
