Social Security is a program administered by the federal government, not the state of Texas. Go on the Internet to the Social Security Administration's Website at: www.ssa.gov and look for how to get a new SS card. Chances are you'll need to go to one of their offices with proof of who you were/are. So gather your marriage certificate, old SS card, drivers license, birth certificate, etc and be prepared to stand in line for a long wait.
