Yes, I do. He is a Christian - and I know his heart is in the right place - he respects our military - gave us the first decent real raise since Regan! Plus, he protected us and brought us together after 9-11 and is trying to make our world safe from terrorists - true, he isn't popular - but he is honest, real, and his heart is pure.

Yes, I support President Bush, I voted for him both times because I thought he was the right man for the job. We had just been through eight years with former President Clinton, who had absoutely no back bone or morals and I wanted a change. By the way, it is President Bush, not "Bush", and I do think the way you phrased your question it was inflammatory.

I do not support Bush, because he swore to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States, but apparently did not read it. He and his Congress has overseen the butchering of each and every Article of the Bill of Rights.

The precedent that his version of "Daddy Statism" has set will only strengthen the horrible and repugnant forms of "Mommy Statism" that will be given free reign once his party loses power in the coming years.

So, to be fair, I probably will not support the next President either, whoever she may be.

Wouldn't it be a bit suicidal to not support the President while he, as Commander-in-Cheif, is trying to wage a war against the terrorist ideology rampant among fundamentalist Muslims and those who subscribe to it? I'm not saying that you have to support his decisions, but shouldn't you be supportive in hoping that the decisions he makes will turn out well? If you are hoping that Bush fails, that means you are hoping that members of the U.S. military die at the hands of al-Qaeda or Iraqi militias, or you are hoping that Osama bin Laden continues to elude capture, or you are hoping that the President fails to prevent another terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

As an American, supporting the President at the current time means you hope that our troops are successful enough to come home victorious from all the battles they have to fight in this War on Terror, which will be an extremely prolonged conflict, like it or not. It means you hope that he can protect you and your fellow Americans. Me, personally, I hope that everything that President Bush does turns out like gold from now until the end of time. I doubt it will, however, and that's only partially his fault, but that does not mean I hope he screws up.

Support and agreement are two entirely different things.

I think so, Bush isn't all bad, but he's not all good, either, and a lot of people are unhappy with his stand on things like illegal immigration etc. I think the last poll I saw said something like 38% approval rating, so somebody likes him...

because they have the intellect of a piece of dog sh.it!

as for the "real raise," to what raise are you talking about? the tax cuts for investors who are already multi-millionaires, or the two dollars extra an hour from minimum wage... yeah, seven dollars an hour is going to help out a lot of people, considering that gas has more than tripled in the past ten years, and min. wage has gone NO WHERE!!!! THANKS GEORGIE!

yes i like bush but not as president of the united states let his daddy and friends help him survive he did so poorly in business that he got in to government to feel needed by his rich friends .NOW they have to talk to him to get the laws passed to protect there businesses and reap greater profits and anyone not making a seven figure income can not be a republican.you can be a conservative just not republican and quit trying.I DOnot think of any of the conservatives as republicans only as misguided conservatives being used by republicans so they can do what they want and make even more money .PEOPLE do not like change and we are going to have gay marrige legalized prostitution and a whole lot of other freedoms that is what freedom is the right to choose.
I do not have to like what you do and i can choose not to allow you around me if i want but i do not get to make the choice for you.when conservatives learn this the war on religion will end and free speach will return and we will not have fat people in the un-employment line for violating company policy regarding health issues .you got no smoking and now we will have to go one better no fat people allowed in the upper middle class weight restrictions like a high school grad can not mention jesus is comming to an employer near you and you say no way 30 years ago you would of said no way can we not mention jesus and you would be wrong and i warned you then too now i am telling you in order to be free you have to allow for people to be different and still be treated the same under the law.laws are only meant to restrict freedom and boy do we have alot of laws everywhere and it is getting worse as for bush he and his family are fine examples of american nuclear family values and he should get out of politics today and preach values to anyone willing to listen .HE does not belong in the white house.THE CONSTITUTION IS JUST A PIECE OF PAPER .THE CONSTITUTION IS JUST A PIECE OF PAPER.!!!!!!BRING IT ON BRING IT ON .thats fine for me and you but not the leader of the free world.WE are not so free when you can not say jesus anymore and conservatives have led the way till we hit a nerve with you when will you see what freedom really is my right to sell my body daily in any manner i choose not just for your convience at the drive thru window of McDonalds but on my back in a hotel room to you have the option of overing me a better way to make a living but crime and prostitution go hand in hand with poverty .so end poverty and we will have no crime to speak of .OUT_SIDE of the guy or gal who does a little to much partying and hopefully runs into a cop before they can do anyone harm .this does not make them bad people just a little self absorbed.LIKE bible thumpers who say it is wrong to be gay aand do not say slavery is ok.because both are in the bible and jesus did not cancel slavery or we would not have had good southern baptists with slaves just a hundred and fifty years ago .
