I know. This is something that has been alarming me since I came on this site. There are some, though, who have used this place to ask valid questions. Others, however, are, as you said, completely inappropriate for their age level. For these, I have answered that they should grow up a little first. I guess I am not too popular with that age group as a result, but I am not going to tell a 12 or 13 year old to go ahead and have sex.

cause 35 yr olds don't know the answers and ask the 12 & 13 yr olds to find out for them.

Some of them are just trying to act older than they are.

Some of them *need* the information, and don't know where else to get it because their lives are happening too fast.

I think parents are going to have to start having "the talk" with kids a lot earlier. Kids hear all kinds of things at school, at the mall, on TV, on the radio, and on the internet.

There really is no way to keep them away from some of this stuff, any more.

I do not blame the parents, but I think they better start a lot earlier if they want their kids to hear it from them!

There arn't, there are 35 year olds acting like 12 & 13 year olds to talk to young children to find out where they lived to molest them. So, don't give away info!

Because of the current cultural trends. People on TV do it often, and children watch TV.

Oldbies might say it's corrupting, and to some degree this is true, but imho there's no such thing as innocence. Shielding children from this stuff just makes them pay more attention to it when they find out.

because there are idiots that actually answer them

yesterday there was a question from a 15 year old on how to "play with yourself" and people actually were giving her advice rather than telling her to focus on school

i think it's stupid that there are crazy people here that won't tell these kids that thinking about sex at a young age isn't good

Maybe they're actually 35 and trying to find someone a lot younger than them to be with (sickos).
Maybe they're trying to bust pedophiles on here.
They just need to stop worrying about growing up so fast and enjoy being young. 13 is too young to be having sex. They should be focused on school, friends and their family.

Curiosity ... peer pressure ... genuine interest ... and of course, the possibility that they are not 12 or 13 at all ... but twisted adults in search of children with a budding sexual interest.
