Me and a great friend of mine started off being really good friends after we were introduced by some friends at the bowling alley one night. He had just gotten out of a relationship and so had I, so we were both just looking for a friend. I ended up falling hard for eachother several months later, but have decided no to get into a relationship because he thinks "That life is not all about being with somebody. Go to school, get your degree, let me get my life together, and then we'll work on a relationship." He claims that college is a time for fun and that I shouldn't be ready to be too serious right now. What are your feelings/opinions with his suggestion?

I have to agree with your friend. College is hard enough without having to deal with the drama of a relationship. Focus on your studies for now. Relationships come and go, but friends are friends for life. Besides, you may be surprised at what might come out of that freindship.

Either he is not 100% into you,or he may be scared. You cant choose when you fall in love.Trust me on this! When the time is right you will know, when you cant be without someone.

Life is to short to care about the opinions of others.

Forget him. If he can't see your worth and thinks that he's just gonna put you on hold until he's tired of playing, you don't need him. Move on.
