Are there any fireworks going on for this upcoming 4th. They used to have fireworks on the Strip, but I heard they may not be happening this year.

i was in Las Vegas last 4th. It was very fun, and very expensive, and very very hot. my advice is to put off going there for the 4th, some buddies and me have also gone in the fall and in the spring, both much better times to be there, not as crowded, expensive, or hot.
yes certain hotels have fireworks, but don't go to vegas for the fireworks...there are much better things than that there...if ever you do end up going to vegas try and get a room at the Bellagio, and see the Bellagio show "O"...words can't describe it. Or see the show at the mirage, called "Love" it JUST opened and is the hottest show to see right now.

Yes, there are fireworks on the Strip for the 4th of July. It wouldn't be the same here in Vegas if they didn't. I actually think that us Locals would be upset.

Strip fireworks are usually only New Years. In 10 years they I don't recall them ever having them down there.
There is something called red, white and boom that happens with music and fireworks, it's at the Desert Breeze Park.

That rumor goes wild every year in Vegas. The only time they won't do them is if the winds are high during the drought period. They always plan to have them, but the plans can change at the last minute, depending on the fire risk. Your best bet is to check with the tourism bureau, and the local fire department.

Yes....las vegas will always have a great fireworks show. it brings in many ppl from all over. We will always have it here.

Moapa reservation, we went up Friday. I can't imagine that there won't be fireworks in town this year. They may have some at Cashman, if there is a game.

Of course there will be! I'm a local, I should know. Anyway, we always watch them every year from our deck. I'm just looking for the times they are on this year.
