I think the best proof is the fact that we all know that life can be achieved in the correct environment. Our solar system is one of many in an infinite universe. The Milky Way dwarfs in size to other galaxies. There has to be another solar system out there in an endless number of galaxies that has the right conditions for life. We are alien to them.

Just check out all of the technology that you have available to you. Sixty years ago we were delivering milk by horse and buggy, do you think that we could progress to this point without some help from a superior intelligence?
