Who thinks that this will actually have an immediate impact on the issue of global warming? those who have seen it, of course.

To those of you who have not seen the movie: it is not at all a political movie. It is a science movie. So I highly suggest you stop being so arrogant and go see it, for your sake and the sake of the unfortunate children you have. And also, Al Gore never said he invented the internet. He said he helped develop the internet, which means that he helped it become popular among the general public!

God, I hope it has an effect on the issue of global warming. I know I will do my part in trying to slow it down. Unfortunately, this government is run by corporations who only see the here and now. They are trading the globe for dollars and when after they have all the money, they will not have a habitable world: what's the point then?

Man Bear Pig :)

Al Gore is wasting time and money. No one cares about global warming. And even if we do, we are too lazy to do anything about it.

What, are we gonna just stop driving cars and shut all the factories down?

The man needs to do something a tad bit more productive, or maybe nuthing at all.

I think it is 100 percent true, but it would be inconvenient for the Bush Whitehouse and the drooling born again conservatives to admit that their policies have set mankind on a no-return trip to oblivion... so the film won't change anything.

It won't have an impact because too many people are too stubborn to admit that we are destroying our planet. It's easier to make fun of Gore and make up other excuses for polar melting and more intense storms, etc. than to admit we are to blame.

AlGore( as in IGOR ) is a pompous , fabricating bragster. He is on record countless times falsifying anything.. from claims that he "invented" the Internet -to saying his sister was the 1st peace corps volunteer ( she had a paying job at the headquarters). You name it , algore says he invented it . I wouldn't believe a word out of algores mouth , or anything he is connected with .He's pathological .I suspect he became Vice-Pres to make Clinton look good .
