If the service is good, I will tip 20-25%. If the service is poor, they get a whole lot less. I do not penalize the server for mistakes made in the kitchen, unless they do not have them corrected quickly.
If I have to wait repeatedly for drinks, or coffee refills, or I have to flag down the server, the tip is going to be reduced!!!!

From 15% to 30%, but if it is really bad service and I dont plan on coming back, no tip.

10% for just doing the job up to about 40% if there really good. The way to get a really good tip out of me is to make my daughter laugh.

When at counterservice, usually my left over change. When it's a large order, 1-2 dollars. At restaraunts, its usually 12-15 percent.
