For as many different reasons as there are men who don't like doing it. For some, it's cultural. A lot of black men don't because they think it's not culturally acceptable. Some men are afraid to because they're unsure of themselves. Some are just plain selfish and don't want to. Some say that the taste or smell is unpleasant. Some think the vagina is not visually appealing. Some simply don't realize the amount of pleasure they can give to a woman this way.
Assuming your guy doesn't like going down on you, talk to him in a nonthreatening way and ask him why. His answer might surprise you. Depending on what he says, there are a number of ways you can persuade him to do it. Giving yourself a nice trim or shave is one way to make it look more appetizing. Getting him excited before suggesting it would be good, too, as men are more likely to try something new when they're wound up. Telling him that you feel taken advantage of and that you don't want to give him any more BJs unless/until he starts reciprocating because, truth be told, you don't care much for it either, but you do it because you know how much he loves it.

Frankly, some women dont take care of themselves as well as others... Hair is also an issue for me personally... A shower before hand, making your very clean, and at least a nice trim would go a long way in my book. Even so, some women are just unpleasant down there, even given proper maintenence... :( am sorry.

I think one of the most enjoyable things I can do is to go down on my girlfriend. For me the experience is just as pleasurable as it is to her. The only thing I like better is when she goes down on me. But seriously, one of the reasons a man may not want to bury his nose in the short hair may be that the lady has some cleanliness issues. The same goes for any man. If you don’t keep the parts clean and fresh the appeal sort of disappears.

It is ok for it to smell like fish, and most do, but when the taste of the vertical snapping lips taste like fish it is time to reconsider your cuisine. It is the greatest box lunch on the planet if it is fresh and clean but just as most foods have a sell by date if the date on the box lunch as being refreshed has yesterdays date on it, do not eat it.

It has to be both ways, if someone only takes but don't like to give that would be unfair. Take shower, try cleaning up that area and use aroma if all that possible that may change the outcome.
