8 5 4 9 1 7 ?
3 1 -5 8 -6 #
4 3 2
in the second row i have tried to put up the nos as difference of first - second
the third contains the addition of nos
as i see the third row is descending so after 4,3 the last no has to be 2
therefor #=8
and ?=-1
so my answer is -1

It could either be an 5 representing 'e' or it could be an 8 for the pattern starting all over again
