im not saying i hate it...because its just people doing their job and enjoying it., but i only really listen 2 rap and r&b.im just asking the question just to see the answers. : ) so dont think im dissing the music or anything. okey dokey?

Rock beats rap, easily. I don't need to hear about how much money some fool has, how many bi*ches he's f*cked, or how many people they've shot. I'd rather listen to a song with even the slightest bit of substance to it.

Rock and heavy metal are different from death and black metal that contain a lot of the so called screaming, the rock category has changed alot and is too broad to place those two together. For example, I love Black Sabbath, Metallica and Pantera. But also Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I also like Reggea and Soft rock, like DMB type music. I also listen to rap and blues. Music is music, you will like what you like and grew up with. I'm not a fan to much of Death Metal. And just to confuse people even more, Led Zeppelin was considered Heavy Metal at one time.

i generally don't like rock.i'm a hip-hop and r&B FAN and sometimes listen to pop.
the type of rock that i can't tolerate listening to is the category that contains lots of shouting and yelling.....i'm not sure but i think its either hard rock metal or punk.
i could listen to some pop rock or rock and roll but i don't have special interest in it.

You are probably the only who doesn't like rock music...Try to listen sth classical like Bob Dylan or The Doors...And making serious music is definitely no "job"...!

i hate rock with every part of my mind body and soul who wants to listen to a bunch of crazy dudes screaming into a microphone on the other hand i love rap and some r&b rock can go straight to hell for all i care

I love it...it's all I listen to. I like the intelligent lyrics, as opposed to my bitches and hoes....and the same boring beat on ALL the songs...
