I saw this book and just could not believe it. How far would these people go in claiming our culture as theirs?

since the beginning of time, people have been molding religious objects and figures into what best suits their beliefs. religions continuously 'borrow' from others.

besides, why do you seem so angry about this, after all, isn't imitation the highest form of flattery?

Okay I don't know anything about it - but _ so what if they did ?

Is it really that important? We turned Jesus into a nordic looking guy ? I just don't get the problem if they made a character whoever he/she is relevant to them and thier people for whatever reason (and I don't know if they did or didn't) so bloody what?

Isn't there other stuff a lot more important? I am sure that the jews are not sitting around the camp fire discussing how to steal your culture and if you think they are maybe it's time for you to look up the word paranoid.

I am sick of people who assume the jews are running the world that they are incontrol of everything and they are at the center of every consiracy. Wake up no one peoples are as big as you make the Jewish out to be.

Did you know that the Catholics and Protesants have the same fights as you seem to want to engadge in? What would Arabs do with thier evenings if it wasn't for the Jews and what would Protestants do with thiers if it wasn't for the Catholics????

Anyone who frees others from taboos, is not a Jew no matter if the character has a Jewish up-bringing or not. Your average Jew cares nothing about other cultural misconceptions other than that culturals hate of the Jew. Get real.

So what. Big deal. I'm part jewish and part christian (father jewish, mother christian) I don't think it really matters if johna has been as you say " turned into a jew" there are far more important things in life to be concerned about than wheather Johna's relgion has been changed.

Cultural bigotry (or any other bigotry) is to be reviled in any form. ANY cultural bigotry.
