Yes!!! they are nocturnal animals.
Mine do the same thing. It's time for them to party!!!!!
They love the music I play for them at night.

Guinea pigs are diurnal, which means they are most active during the day. In fact, they require very little sleep, needing only 4-6 hours of sleep each night.

SO NORMAL!! My son has a guinea pig and she does the same thing and man, is she fast!! WOOOHOOO!! Be sure to give them oranges, they need vit. C as their body does not make it and be sure to give lots of timothy hay, they love the stuff!! Oh, mine loves bananas and apples too!

You might try putting her somewhere quieter. I raised Guinea Pigs and never had this problem. Something is probably spooking her.

They, along with hamsters are night creatures.
They are up at night, and sleep alot during the day.
