E-bay yard sale?

I have a bunch of junk sitting around. I don't think it would sell very well at a traditional yard sale. Is it worth my time and effort to try to sell it on E-bay? I hate to throw it out, but it seems to be junk.

Sometimes your junk can be someone else's treasure. You just never know whether someone will want those items -- and even pay you a lot.

I remember a few years ago when this newbie seller found some fishing lures in a construction site. They thought they were junk but nonetheless sold them on ebay. Each sold for about $35,000 because they turned out to be very rare antique fish hooks.

You can try to do a little research on your items. See if there's any manufacturer or year, and then search for it on ebay to see the demand for it.

Before you start putting stuff on ebay you should do some research first to find out what it could sell for online and also find out how you will ship the item and the general cost to ship the item.

Yeah, give it a shot, it's fun, and if it doesn't sell you can throw it out, or give it to good will for a tax right off.

What sort of stuff do you have? Do a quick e-bay search for the items?

Try placing a few items up, and see how they sell.
If it's successful, then continue with it.
