Exactly. And Clinton is the expert on AIDS in Africa after ignoring that. Who was the guy who signed a huge bill of financial support to combat AIDS in Africa?

OH yeah...Bush.

It's political. Scientists have already determined that global warming is a natural phenomenon. Though we do release alot of "greenhouse gases", one volcano eruption can release as LITTLE as the amount we produce in 5 years, all in one or two days. There is also an apparent cycle in which the Earth warms and cools over and over again. We've also witnessed this phenomenon with Jupiter and mars. There's nothing we humans can due to reduce global warming. It will occur. But that doesn't mean we don't need to get rid of the poisonus gasses if we are able to.

I don't like Clinton, but he did provide Emory University wil like $20 million in funding for their AIDS research, which is really coming along. They've found a new treatment that will actually work. And they're so close to finding a cure!

You need to get your facts strait ! There is a big difference in negotiating a treaty for global standards like Clinton and Gore were doing and throwing the idea out the window completely like Bush did !! The fact of the matter is that Bush rolled back policy that were a foundation for cleaner air and water standards ! put forth by the Clinton administration ! You would know this if you took the time to truly pay attention to government and not just spew this fascist crap !!

I don't believe that he thinks he's an expert, I believe he's just trying to get the word across to the American people and the world that this is serious so we should all step up and try to do something. I just hate the political side of the issue....which is "WHY is there global warning? Did we the people make global warming act faster or was it just in all due time"........

Please, O PLEASE get your facts straight so it' s not so EASY to prove you wrong.

Pretty please?

ENVIRONMENT
During Gore's tenure as Vice President, he was a strong proponent for environmental protection. While a senator working on his book Earth in the Balance, Gore had traveled around the world on numerous fact-finding missions. On Earth Day 1994, Gore launched the worldwide GLOBE program, an innovative hands-on, school-based education and science activity that made extensive use of the Internet to increase student awareness of their environment and contribute research data for scientists.

The opinions he developed on issues such as global warming, the depletion of the ozone layer, and the destruction of rain forests is said to have played a major role in policy making for the Clinton administration.

IN THE LATE NINETIES, Gore strongly pushed for the passage of the KYOTO TREATY, which called for REDUCTION in GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS .[10][11]

Al Gore was not President, and could not implement any regulations. He was only there to back the President, and nothing more.

He could only suggest things to President Clinton, but, he could not enact legislation, or do anything that would be detrimental to the President of the United States and make him look bad.

Al Gore was a "team player", and that is what any Vice President is supposed to do.

I wish you well..

Al Gore is a follower, not a leader, as most liberals are.
