Look at realtors selling property in your area.. almost all have internet listings.. like re-max or century 21 .. or anything sounding familiar under the real estate section of your phone book... by browsing their websites.. you can find what are referred to as 'comps' for properties. that means they are similar to what you are looking for or considering.. find some that match what you like in terms of type of land.. near water/ completely grown or treed / near a major roadway / waaay out in the woods..
and compare what you see to what you have or are looking for.. something is sure to match.
Good Luck.. Hope this helps :)

If you have an address for the acreage, try http://www.zillow.com
In many cases, it will share the property value of an address.
Hope that helps.

Tax assessments might give you an idea or look for other similar property that has been sold.
