I think Oprah is a living joke.... I feel sorry for the people who worship her, really.
I don't like hip hop music very much... but I do think Oprah sucks.

I saw that episode with Ludacris, when the cast of "Crash" were on and there was no editing going on. He said what he had to say. As you would know, Oprah is a believer in egality for women and I don't blame her if she doesn't invite the male hip hop artists when their lyrics convey mesogyny. She doesn't have to invite anyone on her show, especially if she doesn't agree with them and doesn't want to get involved with them.

I think Oprah can do whatever she wants, and state her opinions freely. It's her show.
Having said that, Oprah is a good spokesperson, since so many people respect her opinion. I think she's pompous, but I know her heart is in the right place on most issues. I suspect many people feel the same way.
So, why do hip-hop artists insist on promoting the very behaviors that bring their people down? Really, now...

"Well I think oprah should let some hip hop artists go on her show because they haven't done anything to her."
And they haven't done anything for society either. Filth is all that comes from that hip-hop crowd that is so proud of all the bling-bling, drugs and ho's "they gets" ... when did "knowin nuttin" count as knowing something?
Like everyone you have to give respect to get it. Hip hop has no credibility. And the whole world knows it.
Oprah does more for humanity and more specifically for the African-American community than all the hip-hop gangsta's put together times 10. Deal wit it!

In my opinion Oprah is a sell out and people really shouldn't worship her the way they do. I feel that she is ashamed of the hip hop culture and trying to be something/someone that she is not...white. Oprah doesnt now how to relate to people that are not on her level and she caters to her fans. Look in the audience, none of those people would know what to do if DMX or Xhibit or Jay Z came on that show.

Well I think oprah should let some hip hop artists go on her show because they haven't done anything to her. Even though some of them haven't gotten an education like she did, she can at least let them go on tv.

I think the feud is so silly! We as a people need to come together and stop fighting. But Oprah has a valid point because these rappers have to stop degrading women in there videos.

Who cares? Oprah doesn't need to care and perhaps she doesn't agree with the vulgarity, denigration of women, and the violence that permeates many of the hip hop songs. I'm sure that this will get turned into a race issue, in this case, accusing Oprah that she doesn't like her own race or something ludicrous like that.

Oprah has an agenda. She has the right to run her show the way she sees fit, but no one should consider a journalist. She pushes Oprah's side, which is her right. Peace.
