Women are women.
Dart-boards are dart-boards.
Gee, I'd hate to go out to the bar with you.
You'd throw darts at the girls and try to hit on the dart-board.

That could be taken in alot of different ways.
Example: If a woman takes alot of verbal abuse from anyone,
you could say they are "throwing darts at her!"
So,in some ways,yes!

The women who go after "players" for their own ego TURN INTO dartboards, yes.
Women who act the Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, the Lost Waif or Sleeping Beauty are slightly different --pincushions, I'd say.
Women who aren't dartboard or pincushions are really, really good at hiding their character from others.
