My opinion:


Think of a career as "the sum total of your life experiences including education, paid and unpaid work, and community, volunteer and family activities" or as "the sequence of roles and work experiences throughout life, including schooling, continuing education, employment, volunteer work, homemaking and retirement".

Career planning is a method for selecting "experiences" and determine the requirements and the sequence necessary to achieve these "experiences".

Something I did not do in school, 40 years ago, which would have been VERY beneficial to my retirement accounts!
