My grandmother has a flower garden that's being overrun by grasshoppers, what can she do to get rid of them ?

The grasshoppers are small, possably babies and they're light green in color. They're eating all her flowers and it seems that's all they appear to be eating.

not much, even the best insecticides do not work very well in controlling a hopper hatch off!
