guy here - sorry. but i think i can add some insight which might help you understand women better (ladies check me on this - or respond back to me - we can discuss it personally)
given a choice most women would rather see their man in a tux ( especially if it means that he has a nice paying job to go along with it )

Boxers and silky ones at that.. I hate the look of mens briefs. Everytime i see mens briefs i laugh because when i was little my aunt was washing her hubbys briefs and stuck her finger in the front hole and wiggled it like a little pecker..So that's my story and i like all my men in boxers and have personally went out and bought some just for that reason lol

I like boxers cuz they look better. If a man wears briefs he has to be a little mammas boy who won't grow up. Little boys wear briefs. Plus you can see a mans thang thang moving when he wears boxers.

I like boxers because it leaves what is underneath up to the imagination there isn't any illusion given away to what the size or shape is.

I prefer boxers as I have always been of the opinion it is better to conceal than reveal to all in sundry.
