I went through a similar situation only a LOT more complicated. (Me and my cousin liked the same guy at the same time and ended up sleeping with him on the same weekend, separately, of course.) Even tho she still had a major thing for him he picked me b/c he said he could tell i cared for him a lot more. She was actually the one who told him to ask me out. I know it sounds really wrong and weird but, i have been with this guy for a year and a month and we are the happiest we've ever been in our lives. We plan to move in together and get married and all that fun stuff. You shouldn't be afraid to go out with him if you really like him and think it's worth it.

Dont do it girl. Sure she says she is ok with it, but trust me she is not. She is just saying that because she is probably trying to do what she thinks is the best thing for you, but deep I think it would hurt her. I know u dont want to hurt. You can find another guy, but she will always be your cousin.

If you even suspect she still has feelings for him, don't date him. There are so many nice guys out there. If, after several months, they aren't back together...then maybe you can date him. Let time pass.

Hey, if you are in love go for it.

Its hard enough to find the right person. Maybe it will work out and good luck.
