Law is a theoretical and abstract discipline, and working as a lawyer represents the "practical" application of legal theory and knowledge to solve real problems or to advance the interests of those who retain (i.e., hire) lawyers for legal services.

Its definitely not the money big bucks a myth unless you in USA ot LA law ...me think just like sound of own voice ..and reading books on previous crimes or statutes or just like to feel important and occasionally to help the under privileged or to get crims of the hook or ask them first hr usually free then watch your bank balance drop

woooo ppl am at uni doing law and its not easy for a start. i have 4 more years to go and will have debts of around 10gs and i ain't even guaranteed a job in a law firm and for me i like to think i can make a difference when it comes to law too.
