I can play a Casio keyboard because it helps me with the chords. I also play an autoharp, but don't have one at this time. There are a few quality makers of this instrument. I learned to play one when I was an early teen. They have a nice sound and are easy to learn! Some people call them a Zither. Maybell Carter (June Carter Cash's Mother) played one and June Carter Cash did too.

I started playing flute in the 5th grade. I am now 34. My daughter, plays flute, violin, and guitar. She is only 14.
We both like flute because it's sound does not disturb others. she likes violin because she says she plays it with the other side and it makes her feel ambidextrous and she loves stringed instruments. Guitar cause she loves rock and roll.
