In addition, the business of sex slavery (or forced prostitution) is another reason that women may become prostitutes.

As a side note, it is commonly known that prostitution has been legalised in the Netherlands in an effort to control the spread of venereal disease and the abuse of prostitutes. Subsequently, prostitution may be more of a viable career in this country, but this seems largely unlikely.

What you call "business" is not so easy...Haven't you heard anything about Sex Traffiking??? Many women become prostitutes because some prostitution networks all around the world take advantage of them. For example, I am Greek and here in Greece there are many women from Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania...who work as prostitutes, because some other people "promised" them that by coming in Greece they would solve their financial problems...

I can only guess its the money, its the pimp forcing her , maybe addicted to drugs, Why not legalize it and tax it ? Get it off the streets and into the houses, Doctors check ups and a license. It is the "oldest profession "and isn't ever going to end, The law doesn't work.
As one put it I don't pay for the sex I pay so she will leave after sex. no commitments

I have never been a prostitute, but my best freinds mother used to be. I think that there is different reasons for diferent women, but I will tell you why my freinds mother did.......As told to her best freind.......

My freinds mother was abused as a child. She was constenly sexualy molested by her grandfather. Her mother walked out on them when she was a little girl so she lived in a house with her granfather, uncle, aunt, and father. When she was in High school, 12th grade, she was invited to a party and was excited to go. She was getting ready to walk down a dark street and she was held down by three men and she was then raped numeras times. (To this day, they still haven't cought the people who raped her.) She lived in New York, so she then went to a local club. There was some dealers outside, and she said she wanted to start. Over an amount of years, she beacame a prostitute. She was having sex with 3-5 guys a day. Her "pimp", Tim, was like a father to her. He let her stay with him, paid for her food, and also hired her guys. When she was about 23, she was constenetly raped by an 60-year-old man. She then called Tim, and he didn't care. He then called her family, and her family came and got her. When they got her home, she was agian raped more and more. Nine months later, she had my best freind......After she gave birth, she tried to quit being a prostitute and aftyer Tim got the news, he tracked her down with six other men and they each raped her, and then Tim and his "buddies" cut up her face and then stabbed her heart 15 times(As from the confesion of Tim.)

My best freind now lives with her adopted parents. She has had a great life, and knows all about her mother.....She never knew her mother, and as she told me, shes glad that she didn't. She lives with two wonderful parents........If there are any yound ladies that have ever thought about prostitution, consider this story while making the final decision.......

Well it is one of THE oldest professions. It is not exactly easy money but it is basic supply and demand. If a women has the goods that men are willing to pay for then women wil sell it. The question is why would a man pay for something he can get free if he put in a little time and effort.

because they have no education and no desire to hold a real job that requires them to show up at a certain time and be there for a certein time and actually work for their money. Most of them are also drug addicts and it is the quickest way for them to make the money they need to support their habits. One that says that there is no other choice for these women, is wrong. there are plenty of other jobs available and there are help groups and organisations.... so there is no excuse for prostitution other than "Easy money"

I'm sure they all have thier own reasons but, I'm sure that some are probably forced to prostitute either by another person or because they need money for drugs or to suvive. Maybe to take care of thier families or they just have exspensive taste in matrial things.

some of them are depressed and lonely and doing that makes them feel needed and stuff. some are just you know... didnt do good in school and just have no where else to go. some may be from straight outta jail and their loves have been ruined to doign that don't seem as bad to them. thats mostly why, but there are always a few exceptions. i would never want to do that. passing aroudn STD's and such...

They usually take the money they earn to buy drugs that they are addicted to. And they dont have any other way on getting money because businesses dont want people with their attitude and stuff.
