I doubt even they know. Art is writing your thoughts and giving a rats a*s*s if you get paid a dime or not. These guys are album manufacturers. They can spit out words and thoughts not easily identified, but that sound cool and correct. Like or dislike a song for whatever elements you choose. But hardly take the words as gospel, nor original, and definitely not profound.

I am a science teacher, and I would say this is a good song for a bioethics course. I do not see it as bashing science itself, but the irresponsible application of science. This sort of thing goes back to the line in Jurassic Park, where Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) says "Yeah, but your scientists were so busy doing this, that they were too busy to ask if they should!"

It sounds like angst from a fairly intelligent but impatient individual who who wants answers to questions that cant be answered, and has fallen back on the old stand by blind Faith.
With blind faith in ANY religion you dont have to think anymore because all you need is faith, logic and reality dont cause you any problems

I wouldnt say this song is bashing anything.They are saying that science isnt the only way to discover your world. Everything has spirit through it. Amazing album by the way.

I think it is suggesting that science has created things like the Atom Bomb and polution, etc, that is killing our planet, but science cannot cure the human race spiritually, but spiritual cleansing comes after the world ends.
