I think I heard about a study that said people are like 50 percent more likely to stop on a news channel if there is a "breaking news" story...

but I doubt that is the case any more since they over use the "breaking news" headline... you can only cry wolf so long before people stop caring...

Because faux, errr... fox news is biased towards republicans, who are known for their short attention spans. It helps to keep the republicans interest.

ALL NEWS station SUCK...they give crap that shouldnt be NEWS...who cares if people roll down a hill chasing cheese? u feel me ..how is that news?
