The same thing that happens when you aren't pregnant. It is fine because the cervix is blocked shut with a thick ball of mucus so nothing will get into the womb. It is actually good for the mother to have an orgasm because the rhythmic movements of the orgasm will rock the baby to sleep and it will help tone the muscles. During the last week or so, having sex will aid in the labor process if the man ejaculates inside the women. Semen has some natural chemicals that help soften the cervix and this helps dilation start. Also it will bring the man and women together emotionally just like it had done before the pregnancy occurred.

Hopefully you orgasm and enjoy it. It's the same as having sex when you're not pregnant. You enjoy what you can get while you can get it, because the opportunity becomes more precious once you have a baby on the way.

There shouldn't be anything interfering with having sex while pregnant, unless you have a high risk pregnancy.

nothing bad will happen you will probably have the best sex ever. I had a baby 9 months ago and had sex til the end. Your body is changing and is a lot more sensitive during pregnancy so i found i felt a lot more and enjoyed it more as well.

Just something someone told me - but they say high sex drive before birth its a boy and after the birth you had a girl.
It was right with my 3.

Well, you won't get pregnant, that's for sure! That's how birth control pills work you know, tricking the body into thinking it's already pregnant.

Sex when pregnant is totally safe, although may be physically uncomfortable the closer to the baby's due date (the last trimester).

If you have a normal, low-risk pregnancy, sex is fine usually up until delivery (although somewhat hilarious).

If you have a high-risk pregnancy your dr. will advise you depending on the condition.

Some women enjoy sex more during pregnancy due to increased blood flow to "the area." Some enjoy it less if they feel nauseous, fat or tired.

If you are pregnant and you have sex, you have sex. Period. What are you asking?

Everything still works the same and you should still use protection against disease if you are not in a monogamous relationship.
