I am almost 22 years old. I have been with the same guy for a long time and I think we are pretty compatible. We love our time alone with eachother, but also can have no problem spending time apart at our own places. Well we spend a while and we get along just great, and then suddenly we have a big blow out fight out of no where over something so small, to the point where it seems like we'll never be together again. He says he barely even trusts me when I'm nice anymore cause he thinks it's just me trying to get something cause I can get so mean and selfish. We just had a big fight two days ago...and I had no idea I was close to my period. This morning I got my period and have been starting to wonder if perhaps my female hormones are making it hard for me to control my anger. It's almost like I'm two different people when I'm angry. What can I do to contorl this? I feel like it could end us forever. He is not the fighting type, he avoids to fight so it's not like he starts them alot

Hormones change, this is true. They can also change the way we feel, but they can not be used as an excuse to how we choose to handle things. What happens to us, internally and externally is never as important as how we react. Your true charactor shows through when we are emotionally challenged. Decide if this person you become is who you want to be. If not, then the choice is yours.

Did you know that PMS is now categorized as a Mental Disorder. Those days before your period your hormones are so out of wack you feel crazy. I know!! I do the same thing. What I do is when I know that I am moody REAL moody because I am PMSing I try to isolate myself in a way and stay busy. That is probably not the best thing to do, but the way I see it is would you rather be alone and bored for a couple of days?,or would you rather lose the love of your life because he doesn't understand what you are going threw? he can not help he does not understand, he is a man. Men do not have to experience the crazy emotional Jackal and Hyde, besides dealing with us.
Good Luck!!

Start taking birth control. You will know when you are close to your period and you will be aware that you are being a heinous you know what.

I had the same problem a while back. I would be totally unreasonable and I thought that everyone was being mean to me and attacking me when I was the one who was being a *****.

Keep track of your period if you don't want to take birth control, and be aware of your signs, if you have any, like really sore breasts.

Ask him to bear with you while you try to sort your hormones out and that you are really sorry.

get out your calendar and count 28 days from now and mark it. Your next period should start on or very soon after that day. See if you start getting crazy close to that day, then you can stop yourself because you will know why it is happening. When your next period starts, count 28 days and so on.

Don't use your period as a crutch. It can make you uncomfortable but like anyhing else that bothers you its something that can be controlled. Make the decision to be a little more kind and understanding even if you do feel bloated or whatever it is you feel and tell him to do the same. You guys can do it!

ANGER IS THE MOST DANGEROUS THING IN LIFE ONE SHOULD CONTROL THIS HABIT OTHERWISE YOU DO ANYTHING DUE TO THE MADNESS OF YOUR ANGER AND LATER YOU FEEL SORRY.
