I am moving and it is driving me nuts!

I am with you on that score.I hate moving because I will always try to get everything done in 2 days.Pack everything at the old place and then unpack and set everything right at the new place.I can't stand clutter so I try to do everything at once.The last time I moved I finally made myself stop and take a breather.I sat on the porch of my new home and watched the traffic go by.I didn't even realize I had sat there almost an hour when my husband came looking for me.I was totally relaxed and went back inside and finished up our bedroom took a long shower and went to bed knowing that I could finish up tomorrow.It's the stress of thinking I need to get everything done in the littlest amount of time that was really bothering me.When I finally realized this the move seemed to go allot better for me.Just stop and take your mind off the daunting task works well enough for me.

Make time for yourself in the midst of the move. Set down and find some things about the place you are moving to that you so love better than where you left. Go to the Library and enjoy some quiet time there while you look at some of the local newspapers and at least enjoy a place of quiet and peaceful solitude in a hectic world. Know you have to return to reality but for a breath of fresh air it sometimes helps to just find that easy chair and set back in it.
