Are they just overlooked because we had babies and we're still beautiful underneath the stretch marks?

i had 2 kids in 2 yearsi am 24 and i have some stretch marks on the side of my belly. my husband likes me to death, he doesn't care if i have extra weight 4 the pregnancy or stretch marks. it depends with are you with.
you should like urself no matter what and u should be proud that u gave birth even if your body has changed u have a beautiful baby .

I have them and can honestly say that they have not been an issue. Most guys don't even seem to notice them... the other night I wore a shirt which showed a bit of my tummy and everyone still said I looked cute... no mention of the stretch marks...

Depends. You really dont want to wear something that shows off your stretch marks . But enough beer can make any stretch mark disappear

I'm sure that varies from person to person. I, myself, don't care too much for them but then none of us are perfect and we all have things that we would like to do away with or improve upon. The important thing is to be happy with who we are first then find someone who accepts us for who we are and not who they want us to be. You never will conform to an image of perfection that another has for even if you are successful in conforming to one point they will also go on to another point and so on and so on and it never will end.
