I have 8 classes left until graduation. I'm considering doubling up and taking all 8 in just 1 semester. But I'm going to start working again the same time classes start, you think it'd be too much to handle? I can separate the 8 classes over 2 semesters and still mantain full-time status with at least 4 classes per semester. Do you think I should take all 8 classes and work full-time in one semester? Or should I spread it out over 2 semesters and not overdo it? Opinions or personal experience...

Speaking as both a professor and a former student - unless you have some kind of deadline in which you're required to graduate w/in a certain time frame, DON'T overdo it! IF you're taking 8 courses (assuming they're 3 hrs), that's 24 hours, and WAY over a full-time load. If you're also going to work, you will be lucky to just pass those courses. Spread it out over at least 2 semesters, and work part time if you have to. One more semester won't kill you, but trying to cram in 24 hours plus work just might!

I am a full time student in the spring fall and winter and part time in the summer; I also work part time when I can. I have my hands full (also have children full time); I don't know how anyone can do all those classes in one semester plus work. I'm sure it has been done. Enjoy the rest of your classes and spread them out if that's possible. This way you can atleast have a little bit of time to concentrate and try to do the best you can in everything that needs to get done right now.

Space them out over two semesters. You will have more academic success if you don't feel overwhelmed by you work load.

do it over two semesters. Don't kill yourself in a rush to get finished.

stretch it out especially since your going to start working at the same time. it won't do you any good if you burn yourself out and end up not graduating at all
