left mouse-click and hold the cursor on the tool bar, and drag it to where you want it on your desktop.

This happened with me too. Just click on your start toolbar and without releasing the mouse, drag ur toolbar in the horizontal position. Problem solved! hey i solved ur problem, atleast reward me as the best answerer!!!

Just move your mouse to the taskbar and left click on it. While holding the left mouse button down, drag the taskbar back to the bottom of the screen and you're done.

All you need to do is click and drag the toolbar back to the bottom of your screen. :)

Grab the taskbar somewhere where there aren't open windows and drag it back to the bottom of the screen. That should fix the problem.

Select it with your mouse, and then drag it back down to where it used to be.
Either that or right click it and see if you can use the menu to place it back to where it used to be.
