points is just account of how you have taken part on yahoo answers it gives you an incentive and there is a leader board you can get your name there if you get enough points but that will take some time because there are lot of people who have a lot of points, and yes you can dance brag and make merry when you get the ten best answer points

why are u thinking abt points and all that ****.....just enjoy....ask questions if u have any doubts..or problems...coz there are really some good intelligent people online....if not questions..then just help sum1 by answering their questions.....all the points are pointless....

when you ask a question it takes away a few points so i guess the more points yuo have to more questions you can ask. i think it's pretty ridiculous to be honest.
