OK Superbowl is YEARLY and the World Cup is every FOUR YEARS. The Superbowl is ONE game and World cup is however many it is. Americans are about the only ones who care about the Superbowl. The World in general cares about teh World Cup. I don't like the World Cup and have no intrest in soccer. On the other hand I think that by World Opinion it would win out. In personal opinion I'll agree it sucks. As one said though they are two totally different things. Now if we could get those damn World Cup people off OUR FOOTBALL thing.

No way. This is so much better than the super bowl. And I love football. Superbowl is awesome but it's only one game. That can't compare to an entire month of intense, awesome games.

The NFL is about a bunch of overweight morons getting paid millions to exert themselves physically for 10 seconds and then stand around for 5 minutes more. How can the NFL ever match the intensity and passion of international soccer? The answer.....never. I would much rather watch France and Spain go at it then Seattle versus San Francisco.

Hell no. The World Cup unites the world (except for America) with a sport that is the most popular in the world. It is simple, fast-paced, and fun. There's a reason that American football isn't the World's favorite sport.

Soccer is the most borist sport to watch just a bunch of guys kicking the ball back and forth. Its no wonder they get so excited when the finally score because its so few and far between goals.

hhmmmmmm. You must not like soccer. If you don't like the world's game, don't try to compare it to football, you will never understand.
I like American Football also, but the game the world plays is much better...but I have played soccer all my life, so I get it.
