uh .....
I don't know what Demension X is but De-generation x is a faction in the WWE that was made up of HHH, HBK, and Chyna.
They came up with the name because the commisioner called them no good degenerates and always talked down on the generation X. Ergo De- generation -X
well the wwe has now brought them back only it is made up of HHH, and HBK. they are pulling the best pranks ever.

D-Generation X, or DX, is a wrestling faction in the WWE that was found by two WWE superstars, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Back in 1997, when Bret Hart was the WWF champion, Shawn Michaels and Triple H were unlikely tag team partner that gel together and got along together. Along with Chyna and the late Rick Rude, the duo were being tired of Generation X getting a bad rap, so they became degenerates and called themselves, D-Generation X, where "you make the rules and we will break them" was there motto. Over the next months and years, DX continue to raise hell on the WWF, from butt-mooning in front of live audiences to making obscene jokes about a man's genitelia to showing near nudity as every possible moment. In the ring, they were as dangerous as dominant, from Shawn Michaels winning the WWF championship in the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" at Survivor Series 1997 (Bret Hart never tap out when the bell rang) to Triple H being "handed" the European Title from Shawn when Sgt. Slaughter tried to break them up. They were not only about to become the most dominant tag team around, but the most dominant faction in our pop culture.
The key moment of DX happen after Wrestlemania 13. Shawn Michaels was defending the WWF title against a young up-and-comer name Stone Cold Steve Austin, with Mike Tyson being the special guest referee (he sided with DX before the match). After Austin won the title, the "Attitude" era began and change wrestling forever. The night after, Triple H came out and claim that Shawn "drop the ball" and name himself the de-facto leader of the group (Shawn was suffering from an injured back and couldn't wrestle for several years). The first action that Triple H took was recruting new members (in which we found out it was X-Pac, Road Dogg Jesse James, and Billy Gunn) to join along with Chyna (Rude left for WCW at that time). Their first offical action was to invade an WCW (WWF competition) event, in which all members were wearing solider-wears (DX shirt, army hat, army pants and boots) and driving a tank to the arena, telling anybody who line up for WCW should join the DX army. Throughout the next few months, they would have feud with the Rock and Mr. McMahon, eventually parodying them along with their respective group (still one of the most popular skits in wrestling today) and doing what they want to do and whenever they want to do. The group eventually split but later reunited in late 1999, when Triple H was the WWF champion (sans Shawn Mchaels and Chyna). Triple H align himself with the bosses daughter, Stephanie McMahon, and along with the boss, Mr. McMahon, the McMahon-Hemsley era began (Triple H stands for Hunter Hearst Hemsley) They didn't do the same antics as they did before on their first run, but just mainly embaress people at their expense when it wasn't even funny. The group eventually started to disinegrate in late 2000 and went there separate ways.
Eight years after the original split, DX finally came together as a way to defy Mr. McMahon greediness to take out the both of them. Shawn Michaels and Triple H had enough of McMahon total control to destroy them, so they reunited to defy McMahon. At a pay-per-vew called Vengance, DX were going against the Spirit Squad (Tag Team Champion) in an 5-on-2 Handicap match, as order by McMahon. On their official night as DX, they manage to humilate McMahon by giving him a live chicken (because he loves c**k), an alien, three male strippers (one overweight) and a penis pump to top it off. McMahon was hell bent on destroying DX at any cost, but his son Shane told his father that his daughter is in labor (Stephanie was pregnent with her real-life husband, Triple H). McMahon was force to leave and left his executive assistant Johnathan Coachman in charge. DX then start to do damage, pouring the Spirit Squad with green paint, spraypainting the bosses office, and putting Coachman's head through the wall (pulling his pants down and spraypainted DX on his buttchecks). Once they got in the ring, they decided to celebrated their reunion with Spirit Squad midgets and DX cheerleaders (they had the letter DX on their bra) and lied about Steph being in labor as a way to have McMahon out of the picture. Before the cheerleaders took off their bra, the real Spirit Squad came and had some calvary, but the calvary left them high and dry and had a DX beatdown. Before the show ended, the 5 midgets then show their rear-end, spelling out their famous catch-phrase, letter by letter, "S*CK IT", to the Spirit Squad. At Vengence, DX defeated the Spirit Squad but wanted to put more humilation to the squad, having one of the member to kiss Triple H's naked butt to close out the pay-per-view.
Memebers (and unofficial) came and gone, but the truth still remains, that there one of the most dominating faction of this generation.
