Sure, my grandmother passed away so hear are some tips....

You may want to start out with his personality and how other's reacted to him

You can end or begin your Eulogy with a memory you will always remember him by.

You can say accomplishments he has made in his life...
Yet everything you say should be meaningful to you and should contain a part of yourself and your feelings about him.

Think of some interesting thing that happened to him, and work out from there. "Fifty years ago, an ordinary man named Joe was working in his garage when ..." Or you could even say "I never knew that much about my grandfather until I started working on this assignment, and I was surprised to find that ..."

Once you have a starting place, you can fill in the details around it as necessary. It's always that first couple of paragraphs that's hard. Just remember that Grandpa DID have some interesting things in his life, and tell them however you like!

Everything from the beginning. Year of birth, family, job, service, medals award , personal characteristics and the things you love and miss the most about him.. search deep in your memory archive. I think that is a very nice memento for yourself and Grandfather would be proud of you! God bless!

I would suggest ordering this book called Writer's Express to help you with more than just outlines. Go to www.writersexpress.com and look into it. Good Luck!
