why wasn't he doing good at the basketball games?

I would have to say he just got worn out and beat up. If he had continued to play like he did against the Suns it would have been a sweep. But I think he just got tired and probably a little nervous.

You do realize that he was one of only 5 players to average over 25 points and 10 rebounds for an entire playoff run? The others? Try

He said in an interview that he was more concerned with how the German national team was doing and the health of captain michael ballack than he was concerned of the nba finals. I have to agree with dirk on this one, i would have missed practices to watch the germany games..

You can't blame one guy for the actions of an entire team.
The Mavericks played as a team, and well they lost as a team. After they won the first two games, they kind of started getting cocky and they also started slacking. Although I was mad that they lost, they have on-one to blame but them selves.
