Probably not. The Virgo likes to have things just so and tries to make it that way.
The Scorpio does not like to have to do what other people tell them to do and will go the opposite way just for spite.
They are both too controlling and stubborn to get along.

Some books say they are compatible other say they are not. It just depends on you. For all you know you can change your Virgo or Scorpio depending on your relationship and somehow match. I have great Virgo friends and I am Scorpio.

I just answered another very similiar question. Although there are some signs that "on the surface" may not seem to be compatible; if we are to be honest with ourselves and with each other, open up the flood gates of communication, and decide to work dilligently on any and all issues that concern us; it does not matter the sign.
