which ones better?

i was thinken about next school year and i get firgure out how i want to dress i need help to make up my mind. wich one should i dress as preppy or skater/punk???

What grade are you?.....Why not dress in comfortable clothing with one signature piece of clothing i.e. scarf, etc...or a specific color..i.e. purple....

The real question is: how do you want others to perceive you in the next school year? Who do you want to be? Do you want to be a preppy kid or do you want to be a skater/punk kid? The way you dress will decide who your friends are - it's a sad fact, and it's not always true, but in high school/ junior high - it's all about appearance. The preps will judge you if you dress like a skater and the skaters will judge you if you dress like a prep.

Why not change it up and do both - be friends with everyone. Try other styles too and decide which makes you feel most like yourself. Although, this might just make people think you're weird or they might look at you and say "man, that girl isn't afraid of trying anything - she's cool and I want to be her friend".

I dunno, though. I never bothered much with fashion, but I went to a high school with about 200 other students (only 66 in my graduating class!)- it was very small so there weren't really very many cliques other than the popular kids and the not-so-popular kids. And since my high school was out in the middle of a cow pasture - it was all about country music and I was into Green Day. ... I was in the not-so-popular group of kids.

Well is seems that u r going into a new school or some thing either in High school of middle school . the reason why i say that is beacause the year just ended . Anyways I think that u show dress Preppy . I am not a perp but in my first year of Middle school i tryed and i did not like it beacause u have to go shoppin a lot and be in on all the new styles and gossip . The good side of being a prep is that u know lots of people and have lots of connections and the bad side is that u have not so good grades and yur parent freak but yur grades are all you to you any ways .I think that dressing pep is cool and bad at the same time bacause it just is . if you really decid to dress prep here is a web site that u might want to check out for some tips

whatever fits your personality. Don't wear preppy things unless you want to be considered a prep and don't wear skater clothes unless you are a skater. You would get made fun of if you aren't true to yourself. If you want to be unique, try paring skater stuff with preppy type things.

The way to form your own style is to think about things that really influence you films, music and the like

I describe myself as a Rockin Stepford housewife ! I wear full skirts, pencil skirts, dresses, retro hair and always in heels, but with a rock/punk edge often sewin skulls, and different things to my dresses!

It should be what you are comfortable with, pick two stars you admire the style off and combine it thats how to go about creatin your own look

my style is a mix between Dita Von Teese/Gwen Stefani

Preppy!!!because punk/skater, makes you look gothic and i don't think that it looks right on girls!! Girls should dress like a young lady and take good care of theirselves!!

I would lean towards a preppy look, but dress however you like within reason. Its also ok to switch looks. You don't have to stick to one.
