Okay so I thought I had it figured out yesterday. I'm looking for the title to a movie with a tractor trailer following a woman. I believe it was a woman driving a car and I can't remember if anyone was driving the 18 Wheeler. The 18 wheeler was following the car through the moutains or desert and I think he started ramming her car. I believe she was driving a station wagon. This movie was either from the 70s or 80's. Any ideas anyone ? Thank bunches

I just had to follow up to thank everyone so much for all of your help. I'm almost positive that it was Duel but I just added it to my Netflix account so I can check :-) Thanks again everyone

duel is the one with dennis weaver. in the 70s he,s just triyin to get home you never se the driver he wins in the end the truck goes over a cliff

Smokey and the Bandit. Burt Reynolds takes sally Fields on a runaway bride trip that can't be beat! The 18 wheeler is driven by country singer Jerry Reed. The chase comes from Jackie Gleason who is the disgruntled sheriff/father-in-law.

I know what moving your talking about, and it wasn't a woman driving the car it was a man, in the end the guy in the station wagon, ended up making the truck go over the side of a mountain? Am I right?
The movie was called " duel " written by steven spielberg in 1971, and starred Dennis Weaver, who also known for his Role in the television series " McCloud " where he played a private investigator.

Sounds like "Duel", except that it wasn't a woman. It was Dennis Weaver. One of the first movies directed by Steven Spielberg.
1971, and very scary for it's time. Well worth seeing.
