When I try to play my Ipod, it doesn't work. As if it was empty.

i would break it. no im just kidding. well if it wont load, try goin to prefrances in the EDIT menu and press ATOMATICLY LOAD SONGS in the window that poped up. if it STILL wont load, try going to an apple store near you. IF u messed up and can't return it, or they cant fix it, THEY should give you another, because you bought it broken. now, if you wana try this(it might not work) enable your ipod for disk use. now plug it in and insert the music in MP3 format for ur home libary.

If it doesn't show up on iTunes when you plug it in, you should restore the ipod. If it reads it, make sure the songs are in mp3 or aac encoding

Did you push the switch down on the back? Is it charged? If it's low on battery, a red light will flash when you turn it on (The light under your switch).
