The Abarat, it's a three part series and only two books have been published so far. It is written by Clive Barker. It's a different world type of book, everything is out of the ordinary and it's a wonderful wonderful read. I couldn't put it down and i'm so excited for him to put the third book out.

Stephen King's Dark Tower 6--Song of Susannah
I still have the final book in the series to read.
Many of Stephen King's books are connected to the Dark Tower series "The Stand", "Salem's Lot", "It", Insomnia"

Some of my other favorite authors are
Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child
Dan Brown --I thought Digital Fortress was better than DaVinci Code.
Dean Koontz-- his earlier books and his non-supernatural thrillers(Intensity, Velocity)

Alan Alda's autobiography "Don't have your dog stuffed and other things I've learned." Great read, especially if you're a fan. "The Da Vinci Code" was also very good.
