I WOULD SAY $400. TO $450. average 15 mpg 3000 mi. approx. ==i say 15 mpg average because of the mountains but it depends on the load in the car -people luggage etc...a way to go--the best if you ask me.....jump on to I-80 there in N.Y....... .GO I-80 all the way to just past ROCK SPRINGS WYOMING then you will come to hiway # 30 north to KEMMERER WYO. GO ON UP TO POCATELLO IDAHO ---KEEP GOING WEST--- IT TURNS INTO I-15 --GO A FEW MILES AND YOU WILL COME TO I-86 ---JUST STAY ON I-86 IT WILL JOIN UP WITH I-84 RIGHT INTO PORTLAND. Its a beautiful ride and you will see it all -the plains, the mountains and the part I really like across I-84 you would be right beside the MIGHTY COLUMBIA RIVER all the way into Portland. I hope you have a wonderful safe trip no matter which way you go. I said to go this way because I was a long distance trucker up to 3 yrs. ago [heart] I travelled that road many many times. E-mail me and tell me about the trip if you like. 'O'

Figure it out. Look on "Mapquest" to see how many miles it is - then figure out how many MPG you get on your car, x's that per price per gallon x how many miles = Total $$

find the milage, then find the miles per gallon of your car. divide that then multiply by cost of gas
